Dimensione Mosaico

Elisa Brighi and Evelina Garoni, hosts of Dimensione Mosaico, become friends during their school days at the Ravenna Mosaic Art Institute. After working in archaeological restoration, they opened their workshop-laboratory in 2011. In their lovely showroom we can admire both traditional mosaic works, such as copies of Roman and Byzantine mosaics, and their personal, imaginative and poetic works, with an unmistakable style. They combine painting with mosaic, or put different materials together, such as stone, Venetian glass, fabric, ceramics, paper, wood. Their signature feature is the protruding mosaic material: in floral compositions and furnishing objects it creates a three-dimensional effect, enlivening the surfaces. In their workshop you can buy or commission works, or take one of the many traditional and contemporary mosaic courses, suitable for everyone: young and old, groups, individuals and families.
