Mausloeum of Galla Placidia
The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, built in 425 A.D., with its unique early Christian mosaics, is one of the eight amazing UNESCO World Heritage sites in the city of Ravenna.
Opening: Saturday 9 May at 12 noon
To mark the reopening to the public of the ancient late 15th-century tower, known as La Polveriera, the artist Marco De Luca is exhibiting his mosaic work “Le Pale di San Martino”, in which contemporary mosaic art once again engages in direct dialogue with its ancient urban heritage.
The exhibition is organised by CARP Associazione di Promozione Sociale with the patronage and collaboration of the Municipality of Ravenna, Department of Cultural Heritage
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3.30 pm to 5.30 pm
