Mausloeum of Galla Placidia
The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, built in 425 A.D., with its unique early Christian mosaics, is one of the eight amazing UNESCO World Heritage sites in the city of Ravenna.
Opening on Friday 9 May at 6 p.m. at the niArt Gallery in Ravenna, the exhibition Engramma, curated by Diego Galizzi. An encounter-comparison between the works of Felice Nittolo and Giorgia Severi: Engramma is a mental geography, an essential selection of works created by two artists with apparently divergent poetics, but which reveal traces of a common expressive matrix. The artistic researches of Felice Nittolo and Giorgia Severi move on two identity that strongly characterise their works, making them well-known to the general public: the mosaic for Felice Nittolo and the environment as a theatre of the man-nature dialectic for Giorgia Severi.
