9th Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic

From 18 October 2025 to 18 January 2026, the Biennial of Contemporary Mosaic returns. For three intense months, museums, cloisters, monuments, galleries, workshops, cultural associations, temporary and symbolic spaces in Ravenna will be the setting for unmissable events to enhance mosaic, an eclectic bridge between past and present.

A fundamental tool of knowlege, study and valorisation of the ancient and contemporary international mosaic decorations.

The cataloguing records, compiled by CIDM (International Documentation Centre on the Mosaic of the Mar-Art Museum of Ravenna), hosted on the Regional Catalogue of Cultural Heritage – PatER, are following the ministerial standards defined by the Central Institute for Catalogue and Documentation and the Central Institute for the Single Catalogue.
The cataloguing records are in italian language.
