In Barbara Liverani Studio, mosaic is combined with jewellery, decorative objects and design. She is part of the group Racconti Ravennati (Ravenna Tales), born from the meeting of six mosaicists members of CNA Ravenna whom, in collaboration with the Linea Rosa Anti-Violence Centre, gave life to the Fiori di Ravenna-Città Amica delle Donne (Ravenna Flowers of Ravenna – Women’s Friendly City) projects and the collective monument Our Skin.
Barbara Liverani Studio is the creative ‘living room’ where Barbara welcomes her visitors and students. It is a lively and colourful place, representing the many facets of its creator. Barbara, trained as a technical designer, is graduated in interior design. For years, she devoted herself to dressmaking, interior design, clay, ceramics and finally to mosaics. The hallmarks of her artefacts are refinement, research and attention to detail, which are also expressed in her unmistakable micro-mosaic jewellery. In her atelier, one can admire, purchase or commission works ranging from tailoring to interior design, from jewellery to furnishing objects, and even wedding favours. Traditional mosaic, micro mosaic and silver jewellery making-courses can be attended.
