Mausloeum of Galla Placidia
The Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, built in 425 A.D., with its unique early Christian mosaics, is one of the eight amazing UNESCO World Heritage sites in the city of Ravenna.
An ideal activity for anyone who wants to explore the art of mosaic-making in a creative and enjoyable way, using easily recognisable designs. Colorful fish, snails, flowers, plants and small animals with a curious look: in the Amarganta workshop, you can create your own personal mosaic by choosing from original designs inspired by nature and ancient iconographic tradition.
From the saraghina, a symbol of the Riviera, to the stylized cactus, passing through the snail from Aquileia or the Byzantine duck from the Chapel of Sant’Andrea: each design combines creativity, high-quality materials, and craftsmanship knowledge.
Ages 12 and over. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
