Open Week from 3 to 7 March at the Statal Academy of fine arts of Ravenna

From Monday 3 to Friday 7 March, ABA Ravenna, the Statal Academy of fine arts of Ravenna, opens its classrooms at Via delle Industrie, 76 and Piazza Kennedy, 7 in Ravenna to present its educational offerings.
The Statal Academy of fine arts of Ravenna, which is part of the AFAM (Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica), an university sector dedicated to visual art, applied art and the history of art, will illustrate the 1st Level Course in Visual Arts and Mosaics (Three-year course), the 2nd Level Course in Decoration and Mosaics (Two-year course) and the most recent training offers with the 1st Level Courses (three-year course) in Jewellery Design, Painting and New Art Technologies.

Throughout the week, at the headquarters in Via delle Industrie, 76 it will be possible to visit the Painting, Engraving, Jewellery Design and Mosaic workshops, the excellence of our city.
For New Art Technologies, there will be two dedicated days, on 6 and 7 March at the Polo delle Arti in Piazza Kennedy in Ravenna. The 1st Level academic diplomas are equivalent to a three-year degree, while 2nd Level diplomas are equivalent to a master’s degree.

The Statal Academy of fine arts of Ravenna was founded in 1827 with a strong vocation for mosaics. Over the years it has expanded its educational offerings to the entire area of visual arts, focusing its didactic design towards research and technological experimentation; from jewellery design to painting, from art graphics to digital applications, opening up new forms of communication to support the productive sphere and the high artistic and cultural tradition that characterises the city of Ravenna.
